St. Patrick's Day Fun in Oz, 2024

One needn't be Irish to celebrate St. Paddy's Day (though we certainly have enough Irish people in the community, so it's likely you know someone if you aren't one of them), and there are plenty of places to satisfy your hankering for a corned beef dinner, rueben sandwich, green beer (I don't actually recommend that), and some great Irish music.  Read on to find the best places in Oz to celebrate the wearin' o' the green!

Saukville
Between the Greens has a special limited menu Saturday and Sunday, March 16th and 17th. Come grab a pint and have an incredible Rueben, Shepherds Pie, Irish Dinner, Guinness Pulled Pork, or Beer Cheese Soup!  Kevin Kelly will be performing on Saturday and Sunday throughout the day.

Grafton
Sahale Ale Works has their St. Paddy's Celebration on Saturday the 16th with fun fiddling action from Acme Fiddling Co. and Tots On The Street, who will have their tasty taters with a special Rueben tot for the holiday, both from 5-8 p.m., along with  green beers and Nitro Pair O'Mount Stouts for $6 a pint from 4 p.m. until they're gone, as well as one or two other Irish-inspired brews on tap.  If you're more of an Irish Whiskey fan, The Stillery has a special Irish Whiskey Flight with Roe & Co. 106, Tullamore D.E.W. 14 Year, Jameson 18 Years, and Midleton Very Rare!

Port Washington
Twisted Willow has a special corned beef dinner with sliced corned beef, steamed cabbage, boiled baby potatoes, parsley butter, fried carrot peels, and horseradish cream all weekend, and Inventors Brewpub will be opening an hour early for breakfast, lunch, or (and?), dinner where, in addition to their house beers, they will also have OSO Brewing Brawndo on tap, which is a green Lemon Lime Sour, plus cans of Guinness, Harp, and Smitchwick's.  Tello's will also have a special St. Paddy's Day menu on Saturday and Sunday featuring corned beef, a reuben sandwich, reuben keg rolls, corned beef hash and benedict for breakfast, Irish coffee, and plenty of beer.  Bernie's Fine Meats will offer their famous reuben sandwiches and Irish stew on Friday and Saturday - call ahead to reserve yours!  Finally, check Schooner Pub Saturday and Sunday for $3 Tullamore Dew & Jameson & Shamrock Shots/Singles, $11 Reuben Sandwiches, 10 PM - Saturday DQ QUE, and 2-4 PM - Sunday FREE Jameson Shots from Jameson Shot Girls.

Cedarburg
The Shops of the Cedar Creek Settlement have their Get Your Lucky On celebration on Saturday and Sunday, with live music, a cook-out, and shopping specials galore!  On Saturday from 12:30-3:30 p.m. enjoy the original Milwaukee Irish Fest Troubadour, Carrie O’Tunne, with Sea Shanties & Irish songs. Sunday from 12-4 p.m., musicians/vocalists the Cream City Folk Duo will play guitar, mandolin and blues harp – part Folk, part Acoustic Rock and some jig-worthy St. Patrick’s Tunes.  The shops will be offering specials, plus a cook out with Mel's Charities, and the Cedar Creek Winery will have a Port & Ice Wine Celebration going on.  The Art of Joy will have their St. Pat's Day celebration on Saturday evening at 6 p.m. with the amazing Drew O'Hayes & the Lily Gilders with their traditional (mixed with some very NON-traditional) Irish tunes.

Belgium
Kyote's Bar & Grill will open at 7 a.m. to serve corned beef and cabbage, Guinness, and Irish Whiskey on Sunday.
