Connecting Our Community, Since 2011
Ozaukee Living Local began in 2011 as a monthly print newsletter and a vision of a well-connected community dedicated to relocalization. Although the format has changed over the years, most recently as a weekly digital newsletter, the vision has remained the same. OLL is not just any publication, but designed to become a CSP – Community Supported Publication – perhaps, the very first of its kind. With combined resources from local, independent businesses, non-profits, and local governments, including schools and libraries, OLL is a hub – a one-stop-shop, if you will – that connects residents and visitors to local resources and events, and vice-versa. Instead of needing to check dozens of websites or follow a myriad of social media accounts, the community can rely on one website with a comprehensive calendar of events and resource listing, and just one weekly newsletter, delivered right to their email inboxes.
No pop-up ads or annoying banners and videos, just stories, reviews, events and resource listings. No big box stores or corporate sponsors, just local and independent. We want to bring the community together. We want to tell the stories and celebrate the people, businesses, organizations, and events that make our community unique. We want to get you off your screen and get out to meet the people in your neighborhood. Share the local love with us and subscribe!

Ozaukee County consists of roughly nine communities:
At Ozaukee Living Local, we know that sharing stories and bringing people together builds a strong community, and that's our goal. Do you love Oz as much as we do? Then join us! Write a story, share your photos, tell us about your events (inside of Oz and out!). We'll make it simple to reach out to the community and make real connections - the kind that last. No pop-up ads or spam - just a quick crash-course in community to get you on your way, out the door, and in our community, where you belong. We're waiting to hear from you.
