One of the best parts of summertime in Ozaukee County is the plethora of outdoor concerts to attend. From Summer Sounds to Gathering on the Green, there's something for everyone. Here's the 2024 lineup: Belgium Summer Nights LIVE Beginning Friday, June 7th from 6-9 p.m., Belgium's Community Park will feature live music with The Brightside and family fun for all. Food and drinks are available for purchase, and sign up for a cornhole tournament! Join them again on Friday, July 12th with Susie and the Detonators. Fredonia's Tuesday Tunes at Freedom Park kicks off on June 25th from 6-9 p.m. with Wingmen, followed by July 16th with The Verdict, July 30th with JOW, and August 27th with TangleFoot. Food and beverages will be available to purchase on site. Summer Sounds in Cedarburg The 21st Season of Summer Sounds kicks off Friday, June 14th, at Cedar Creek Park with Rebirth Brass Band and special guest, Secret Menu, and continues every Friday through August 16th. Each concert begins 6:30 p.m. and there is plenty of food and drink available on site, as well as a playground for the kids nearby. Bring a blanket or chairs, find your spot, and plan on an evening of fun! GALA in the Park: Vintage Supper Club in Thiensville On Saturday, June 1st, GALA in the Park returns as part of its fundraising efforts to complete funding for the splash pad inside Village Park with a special evening of vintage supper club-inspired food and entertainment, with music and dancing by Five Card Studs. Live at the Triangle in Saukville's Veteran's Park will return with 6 free concerts this summer on every other Wednesday evening from 7-9:30 p.m., beginning with Los Guys on June 12th and ending with Joe 2.0 on August 21st. Food and beverages are available for purchase on site. Gathering on the Green at Mequon's Rotary Park returns on Friday, July 12th with The Fabulous Thunderbirds and the Stephen Hull Experience. On Saturday, July 13th, performers from the Blueburg Cafe Open Mic in Cedarburg will compete at the Best of Blueburg Concert, followed by The Beatles vs Stones: A Musical Showdown. The Shipyard Bar in Port Washington has an impressive Summer Lineup of Live Music, beginning with Tanglefoot on June 15th and ending with a Neil Diamond Tribute on September 13th. Climb the hill to the iconic St. Mary's church on Fridays from noon to 12:30 for the St. John XXIII Summer Music Series: Music on the Hill! The perfect accompaniment to your lunch break, with an eclectic mix of music. June 14th, 21st, July 5th and August 9th. The Port Washington City Band Concerts happen on Sundays over the summer, all at 6:30 p.m. in the bandshell at Veterans Park in Port. Join them June 16th and 23rd and 30th and July 7th, 14th and 21st. Port Washington's Harborview Hotel's West Slip Beer Garden has a great summer music lineup on Friday nights from 6:45-9:30 p.m., June 14th through September 1st. Beanie's Summer Rock the Patio live music series happens Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:30 p.m. beginning June 2nd. Cedarburg Art Museum Beer Garden will have live music and food trucks Thursday evenings from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and on Saturday afternoons from noon-4 p.m. beginning June 13th and running through October 5th. See their website for the full lineup. the baaree in Thiensville, the outdoor beer garden of the cheel Nepalese restaurant, located at 105 S. Main St., has live music all summer long. Shully's River Sounds in Thiensville will have two free Thursday night concerts this summer, from 5:30-9 p.m., rain or shine, with some delicious food available, made (of course!) by Shully's. Thursday, August 8th is Five Card Studs and Thursday September 12th is The WhiskeyBelles. While not necessarily concert series, there are a plethora of places in Oz to catch live music on a regular basis, including: CEDARBURG Art of Joy Rebellion Brewing Lime Cantina Stagecoach Inn/Five20 Pub MEQUON The Annex at Foxtown Mequon Public Market SIP MKE PORT WASHINGTON Twisted Willow's THREE12 Lounge Beanies Mexican Restaurant The Mercantile Plaza GRAFTON The Bridge Sahale Ale Works If you don't mind the drive, Sheboygan has the amazing Levitt AMP Sheboygan Music Series kicks off on Thursday, June 20th at 6 p.m. and goes through August 15th. Most performances are Thursday evenings beginning at 6 on Sheboygan's City Green; however, the Series also incorporates the Midsummer Festival of the Arts on Saturday and Sunday, July 20th and 21st, on the JMK Arts Center Festival Green, and the final concert in August happens at the Art Preserve. Also not too far from Oz, the Homegrown Music Festival returns to Regner Park in West Bend for its 9th year on Sunday, July 14th from noon-9 p.m. Parking is free, and a $10 donation is recommended.
